BS group Bitumen Grade 70/100 is a standard penetration grade base on European Standard DIN EN 12591:99.
Bitumen 70/100 is usually used as a paving Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties. This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases especially in cold climate and wearing courses.

Applications
This kind of bitumen is suitable to be used for road construction projects in cold regions. Also, Bitumen 70/100 is used to manufacture asphalt mixes, some grade of bitumen emulsion, cut-back bitumen and modified bitumen.
