BS group Bitumen Grade 40/60 is a standard penetration grade base on European Standard DIN EN 12591:99. 40/60 Bitumen is usually used as a paving Bitumen suitable for road construction and other industrial purposes.
This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt at tropical regions.

Applications
This kind of bitumen is suitable to be used for road construction projects in tropical regions. Also, Bitumen Grade 40/60 is used to manufacture asphalt mixes, some grade of bitumen emulsion, cut-back bitumen and modified bitumen.
