BS group Bitumen Grade 50/70 is a standard penetration grade base on European Standard DIN EN 12591:99. Bitumen 50/70 is usually used as a paving Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties.
This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt in moderate climate.

Applications
This kind of bitumen is suitable to be used for road construction projects in moderate climate. Also it can be used for producing some kind of asphalt primer and Waterproofing products. 50/70 Bitumen is applicable for the production of hot mix asphalt for bases and pavements and for road construction and also for making some bitumen emulsion, cutback bitumen and modified bitumen grades as well.
